Polar Habitat

Polar habitats are the coldest on earth.  They can reach more than 120 degrees below zero!  They are so cold that trees can’t grow there.  Large areas of these habitats are covered by snow and ice year round.  They have up to 24 hours of daylight in the summer and up to 24 hours of darkness in the winter.
