Frilled Lizard
Frilled Lizards are unlike other lizards. They have a large frill around their necks which they fan out like an umbrella to scare off predators. This makes them look much bigger than they are. Frilled Lizards are excellent climbers and spend a lot of time in the trees.

Physical Description
Frilled Lizards are large, they can grow to just over 2 feet in length. They are brownish to reddish in color and have a wide brown, white and orange frill of skin around their necks.
Family Life
Female Frilled Lizards normally lay about 8 eggs in sandy soil. After more than 2 months the young lizards hatch and go out into the world.
